CHARITY
Marrickville Mayor Morris Hanna presented cheques last week to the local youth charities benefiting from funds raised at the Mayoral Dinner Dance in April.
Pictured above are Kelly Kinseth aiid Shaunagh Sullivan from Stepping Stone House, which received $9000 Miyor Mon-is Hanna and Father Dave from Holy Trinity Anglican Church which received $15,000 towards a youth fitness centre.
Other charities to benefit the $72,000 raised were the Tempe Community Centre, Allawah Youth Movement, Marrickville Youth Centre, Stretch-A-Family, Rosemount, South Sydney Aboriginal Corporation and the St Peters and Cooks River Anglican Church.
The funds will be used for various youth-focused projects.
